2021 Scouts BSA Virtual Summer Experience

Come join us for a fun, educational summer program! Every Scout can attend up to 9 week-long Merit Badge courses over the course of the program. In most cases, these merit badges are intended to be in addition to an in-person summer camp experience. However, we understand that not all Scouts will be in a place to attend camp this summer and we do not want them to miss out!

Unique Opportunity:

- Scouts will not be tied down to a computer 6-8 hours a day. They can enroll in any course over the 3-week period (Up to 3 per week).

- The first period of the day starts at 1:45 p.m. EST and the last at 4:15 p.m. EST. This will allow scouts nationwide to join in on the fun! (Not to mention, who won’t mind sleeping in?)

When:

Week 1: July 5th - 9th

Week 2: July 12th - 16th

Week 3: July 19th - 23rd

Cost:

$20 per class which will include access to the course and a patch.

*Please note: Reliable internet service and a device to access content and streaming apps will be required and not provided. These courses will be offered through Google Meet and Google Classroom. A Gmail account, that is not associated with a school system, will be required to access the Classroom.

*Some program supplies will have to be acquired by the Scouts. More details will be provided in the Leader/Parent Guide.
