Del-Mar-Va Council BSACouncil Covid-19 Update

Safer Outdoors – Our Camps are Open
The Scouting program was founded in the outdoors and outdoor programing remains a major part of our program.  Our Council properties are open to outdoor activities and outdoor meetings.  Units, Districts, and Council events continue to happen in outdoor settings following the best guidance of the CDC and local health departments.

Council Offices
In an abundance of caution, due to the ongoing risks of COVID-19 spread in Maryland and Delaware, our Council offices remain closed to outside visitors without a scheduled appointment. Most employees will be working from home and will still be answering your calls, processing applications and handling payments.  Limited use of our Council offices will be available by scheduled appointment for small groups following all CDC and local health department guidance.

Payments and applications can be turned in at Akridge Scout Reservation.  Please put them in the white lockbox outside the entrance door at the Administration Building.

Scout Shops
Scout Shop orders can be sent (along with your advancement report) to scoutshop@dmvc.org.  Please allow at least 5-7 days before your event for shipping.  Advancements may also be picked up at either Akridge Scout Reservation or Henson Scout Reservation Scout Shops by scheduled appointment.

Unit Programs
We offer the Unit Program Resource Guide to help address your questions regarding holding unit meetings while keeping your Scouts safe and healthy. That resource can be found at www.dmvc.org/unitprogramresource
