Weekend Camping at Akridge, Henson & Rodney Scout Reservations

Strong weekend programming is a sign of a strong Troop. Join us in Del-Mar-Va Council by using our online reservation system linked below.

Canoes & Kayaks are available for rental from all camps during the fall and spring for use on camp and off. Trailers, paddles, and life jackets are all available and included in the rentals. Select the boating category at the site from which you would like to pick up in the Facility Search below. 

Facility Search Each of the Del-Mar-Va Council's camps has something special to offer your group.  Start by clicking the DMVC Camps menu to see what is available for your outdoor adventure. 
Scouts: All Cub Scout packs, Boy Scout troops, and Venture crews can utilize the camps for hiking, camping, fishing, and a variety of other activities
Non-Scouts: Non-Scout groups (i.e. groups not representing registered individuals in the Boy Scouts of America) may want to consider utilizing our camps for their next retreat or camping adventure.  Several types of indoor facilities are available as well as rustic campsites.

Refund Policy - Eligible refund requests must be received in writing at least 2 weeks prior to your camp date. There will be no refunds for cancellations within 2 weeks of camp date regardless of reason except in case of medical emergency. Medical refund requests must include a Doctor's note. Written refunds for medical reasons must be received by the Outdoor Adventures team within 30 days of the event.

Important Reminder: The Del-Mar-Va Council Cub Scout Camping Policy states that no outdoor tent camping will take place between November 1 and April 15th. Webelos camping with a Boy Scout Troop during that time period must stay in heated buildings. 

Registration fees for weekend events are due at the time of registration. A late fee may be applied to a registration completed after the registration deadline, program materials, and/or recognition items may not be available for participants with late registrations. Weekend events are conducted, and camping facilities available, regardless of weather conditions unless a Government agency declares that a State of Emergency exists. If a weekend event is canceled, you will be notified.
