2020 Scouts BSA Virtual Summer Experience 



Come join us for a fun educational summer program, where every Scout can attend up to 5 week-long Merit Badge courses or instructional rank requirement lessons over the course of the program. Don’t be limited to just one week of Scouting, let’s make the whole summer awesome!

Unique Opportunity:

- Scouts will not be tied down to a computer 6-8 hours a day. They can enroll in any 5 courses over the 5-week period.

- The first period of the day starts at 10 a.m. EST and the last at 9 p.m. EST. This will allow scouts nationwide to join in on the fun! (Not to mention, who won’t mind sleeping in?)



Week 1: July 6th - 10th 

Week 2: July 13th - 17th 

Week 3: July 20th - 24th

Week 4: July 27th - 31st

Week 5: August 3rd - 7th



$150 per Scout which will include access to 5 courses, a patch, and a neckerchief. Participants will also be given access to exclusive content created by our staff from Akridge, Henson, and Rodney which will include Campfires, Worship Services, Bay Hikes, ATV Camp Tours, Staff Shooting Competitions and more!

*Please note: Reliable internet service and a device to access content and streaming apps will be required and not provided. Some program supplies will have to be acquired by the Scouts; others will be mailed out by us. More details will be provided in the Leader/Parent Guide.

**Note: The Virtual Summer Experience is underway and we realize that not every participant has received their package yet. We prioritized mailing by sending those who needed merit badge supplies first. The popularity of our program has driven us to reorder patches and neckerchiefs. Don’t fret if you have not received your package just yet, you will.

Cancellation Policy
Refund requests should be directed to Del-Mar-Va Council Outdoor Programs, 1910 Baden Powell Way, Dover DE 19904 or REFUNDS for registered individuals not attending the event may be given if the Outdoor Program Office is notified in writing at least 14 days prior to the given event. There will be no refund for cancellations within two weeks of the event except for medical reasons. Refunds for cancellations due to medical reasons will require a doctor's note.
