Districts

In Scouting America, a district is a geographic administrative committee of volunteers within a council, organized to serve the Scouting units within its borders. Each district is run by a volunteer District Chair, a volunteer District Commissioner, and a District Executive, a career Scouting professional who works as a staff member for the local council. Districts support their local units with advancement, membership, service opportunities, training, and hosting events such as camporees, pinewood derbies, summer day camp, and monthly roundtable meetings.

Del-Mar-Va Council is composed of four districts: Blue Hen, Chesapeake, Coastal, and Blue Crab.
