Patch Distribution – Patrol and Troop Number Patches
Most people didn’t get the troop number (T3323) or patrol patches yet. They just arrived and you will be contacted by a youth or adult leader in your area to arrange for pickup or drop off ASAP so you can sew them on your Class A uniform shirt. Everyone needs to wear the T3323 number patch it looks like this:
T-Shirt Distribution – 5 shirts each
Each participant will get 5 T-shirts. They were delayed so may not be ready until arrival so leave space in your duffel bag for these which are great to wear on a daily basis at the Jamboree! If we can distribute the shirts earlier, we will let everyone know.
Packing – In addition to leaving room for t-shirts, make sure you follow this Jamboree Participant Packling Checklist and fit everything into your duffle bag or day pack. If you want a small camp chair it needs to tie onto your duffel. We will each have to carry our personal duffels to the campsite. Make sure to mark everything with T3323 (our troop number and address at Jamboree) and name/initials using permanent marker. Items can get lost, but only marked items can get returned!
Departure Details for Wednesday, July 22
- Arrive for check-in no later than 5:30am at Akridge Scout Reservation, 1910 Baden Powell Wy, Dover, DE 19904. We will meet at the pavilion by the gravel parking lot (see the right side of the map). The bus will leave without Scouts who are late. Call 302-490-6520 if you are running late.
- Bring 2 cans of non-perishable food (beans, corn, soup, etc.) to donate to the Jamboree Food Drive.
- Bring your Jamboree day pack with what you will need on the bus like:

- Scout Class A Uniform Shirt (folded)
- 2 filled water bottles
- Snacks for the way
- Medications required (part of check-in)
- Bring your duffel bag packed with everything else you need for 10 days of Jamboree inside the duffle bag.
- Everything must fit inside the duffel bag (sleeping bag, pillow, clothes, mess kit, flashlight, etc.) except you can tie on a small folding camp stool or packable chair if you like.
- DO NOT BRING A TENT – these are provided for all scouts.
Exception: if you requested to play in the Jamboree Band, you can bring your instrument in its protective case (hopefully we will have room).
Lunch on the way will be provided on the bus (box lunch with sandwich and drink). Same on the way home. More info on that will be coming but the price is included in the Jamboree fee already paid. All meals at Jamboree are included though the trading post will also sell snacks, drinks, essentials and commemorative items.
Electronic Devices – while Wi-Fi will be available, charging options will be limited. A solar charger and power bank to share with a buddy would be a good idea. Use of the downloadable Jamboree app (coming soon to the app stores) is encouraged, as is signing into our Band (see above) for communication. Each scout will get the SM phone numbers on a card to keep in their backpack.
Electronic devices are strictly prohibited from bathrooms and shower houses at all times, no exceptions. Violations will result in confiscation of the device for the rest of Jamboree.
Behavior Expectations and Troop Code of Conduct
All Scouts and adults of Del-Mar-Va Contingent Troop 3323 are expected to follow this code of conduct:
- We all follow the Scout Oath and Scout Law at all times.
- We all recognize the chain of leadership from youth leaders to adult leaders, and follow the rules set by the National Jamboree and the troop leaders (a Scout is Obedient).
- If and when we encounter disagreements, we discuss them, keeping lines of communication open.
- Everyone should go out and have fun from morning until bedtime. Other than breakfast and dinner, Scouts should be out of camp doing activities each day.
- There is no vacation from health and safety – all requirements must be followed including taking prescribed medications, wearing closed toe shoes, drinking plenty of water daily, showering regularly, and observing dietary restrictions. We report health or safety issues immediately to an adult leader who is required to take action in accordance with the Guide to Safe Scouting.
Return from Jamboree – July 31, 2026
We will depart from West Virginia on the bus in the morning and return to Akridge between 4-6pm. We will send updates on arrival time via email and Band. Please plan to be available for pickup promptly. The adult volunteers will have had a long 10 days at camp, too!
Swim Classification Records:
Don’t forget to document your swim test by uploading the Swim Classification Record from your home troop at this link or scan the BLUE QR code. Please upload your home troop swim test no later than July 17, 2026.
All participants must complete the Scouting America Annual Health and Medical Record.

The next most important thing is to make sure that your Scout has and brings enough medication for the entire 10 days of Jamboree. Pack meds in the daypack to check-in with Mr. Keller at morning departure on Wednesday July 22.
