Cub Scout STEM Days

The goal of the STEM Awards program is to excite and expand a sense of wonder in Scouts. By working with an adult counselor or mentor, the various modules allow them to explore the basic principles of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics and discover how fun and fascinating STEM can be.

The Del-Mar-Va Council operates a series of three days in January through March that gives Cub Scouts an opportunity to complete portions of the STEM Awards. The focus is on achieving the requirements that are more difficult to do outside of a home or Den meeting setting. Each event focuses on a different award, so Cubs can attend multiple events. Please note that each award does have up to two requirements that are unable to be completed during the event. These requirements are best done at home or a Den meeting and may be completed either before or after the event to finish earning the award.
