FROM DOVER, DE and points north: follow US 13 South to Seaford, DE. Turn Right onto DE Rt 20 West (McDonalds intersection), continue through Seaford. Just outside of town and just past the railroad tracks (not the railroad overpass by the high school). Note highway sign for Scout Camp - these continue into MD. Just over tracks, turn left onto Woodpecker Rd. Follow to Tee intersection and turn left onto Golestown-Reliance Rd. Follow to Galestown, cross Millpond, to stop sign. Turn left. Follow to next stop sign
FROM BAY BRIDGE and points West: follow US 50 East to Easton, MD. Turn left (South) onto MD Rt 331 (Dover Rd). Follow MD Rt 331 through Preston to MD Rt 318 East (no turn). Follow MD Rt 318 to MD Rt 313 (Federalsburg) . Turn right (South) onto MD Rt 313. Follow signs for MD Rt 313 South (watch for turns - they are well marked) through Eldorado . After last left turn (in Eldorado) entrance sign to camp is 5 miles further South on the right.
FROM LAUREL, DE and point s East: follow DE Rt 24 West to MD state line. Rt number changes to MD Rt 348 at state line. Follow Rt 348 to blinker light ot MD Rt 313. Turn right (North) at blinker onto MD Rt 313. Follow MD Rt 313 North, cross the Nanticoke River. Entrance to camp is 1 /2 mile further north on the left.
FROM SALISBURY, MD and points South: follow US 50 West to Mardela Springs, MD stop light. Turn right at MD Rt 54 to MD Rt 313 North (about 200 yds) . Turn left onto MD 313 North to Sharptown. Cross the Nanticoke River on Rt 313 North. Entrance to camp is 1/2 mile further North on left

Please READ THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Insurance: Unit accident insurance is required from all units. This is an excess benefits policy that works in conjunction with family medical insurance. Local hospitals will require insurance company name, policy number, and expiration date in the event of an emergency. Del-Mar-Va council is not responsible for medical expenses incurred while at camp. Do not send medical bills to the council or the camp. Del-Mar-Va Council cannot complete the form or submit the claim for you. Having bills sent to the office will not result in payment, and will cause delays in getting them paid. If you have any questions regarding accident and sickness insurance, contact your insurance carrier or local council.
Age Limits: No children younger than Boy Scout age are to attend camp with a Troop unless they are Webelos attending a parent/son activity. They will be sent home. Youth members may only participate in age-appropriate activities.
Cub Scout and Webelos Camping: Cub Scouts and Webelos may participate in Pack Family camping and Cub/Parent type weekends, and must have a parent or guardian in attendance at all times. Cub Scout Packs must have at least one adult who has completed Cub Scout/Webelos outdoor training in attendance. Webelos dens are encouraged to have several one or two-night camping experiences. At least one adult must have completed Webelos outdoor training. All Cub Scout and Webelos weekend camping activities should occur as parent/son activities. Outdoor tent camping is permitted for Cub Scouts and Webelos between April 15 and November 1 each year.
Two Deep Leadership is required on all trips and outings. At least 2 registered, trained, adults must attend with each unit. One of the adults must be at least 21 years of age. It is highly recommended that all adults in attendance complete the Youth Protection Training program at my.scouting.org.
Separate facilities, i.e. a separate room or tent, are required for females participating in an overnight activity. Leaders responsible for the group must be registered members of the BSA and remain with the unit the entire time the unit is in camp.
Vehicles: Depending on road conditions, at the discretion of the camp ranger, all service roads may be closed. In the event of heavy snow or ice, the service roads may be closed. In those cases, transporting equipment will have to be done by sled or other manual means. If the roads are open, only ONE vehicle may remain at the site for emergency use. The vehicle is not to be used for anything other than an emergency. All other vehicles are to be parked in a designated parking area. Trucks larger than a pick-up, including buses and RV's, are not allowed on the service roads. All wheeled sleeping/camping type vehicles and trailers are restricted from use as housing at both camps. No persons may be transported to any location in the vehicle other than where a seatbelt has been provided by the manufacturer of the vehicle. This includes any type of wheeled vehicle or trailer.
Prohibited Items: The following items are prohibited in camp. Violators will be asked to leave.
Alcoholic beverages, Firearms/Fireworks, Electric or Kerosene Heaters, Sheath Knives, Pets (other than service animals), Drugs (other than labeled prescription or non-prescription medications), and Chainsaws (permitted only with proof of BSA Chainsaw Safety training certificate).
Shooting Ranges:
Check-in begins at 6 p.m. on Friday.
On Friday night the unit is asked to give the time they are going to check out on Sunday when they plan on leaving camp.
If the unit wants to check out earlier they can contact the campmasters and see if arrangements can be made
At least 1 adult leader must remain in the site until a campmaster or ranger staff release them.
All trash must be taken to the trash compacter.
All recyclables can be taken to the recycling dumpsters.
All gear must be removed from the site before check out.
The cabin and grounds must be completely cleaned and swept before the unit checks out.
The grease pan under the griddle must be cleaned.
All outdoor fires must be completely out and cold.
All wood stoves can be left to die out naturally, do not put water in stove to extinguish fire.
Please turn off all lights in cabins.
We ask that as few vehicles as possible are taken into campsites to avoid ruts and tearing up the property.
Cancellation Policy:
Applies to Offline Payments, Visa, MasterCard There will be no refunds for cancellations within 2 weeks of camp date. Arrangements made to transfer fees already paid to another weekend can be made ONLY if the Outdoor Program office is notified in writing 2 weeks in advance of camp date. If you choose not to attend camp within 2 weeks of your camp date, there will be no refund or transfer regardless of the reason. If it is necessary to close the camp due to inclement weather you will be notified.
