Chemistry with Chemours

Check out chemistry in action with the scientists from Chemours

This Virtual event gives scouts the opportunity to work with the scientists who work every day in the Chemours lab to complete Chemistry Merit Badge!

- This event will be held in a Virtual format using Microsoft Teams.  The web link will be emailed to all participants after they register for the event.

- Registration is only $10

- For requirement 4a, Scouts will need an onion, butter, frying pan and stove. Support from a parent or other adult is recommended

- Scouts will need the clear container, water and oil for the experiment in requirement 4c.

- Registration is limited to 40 scouts.

This is a Class A event. Scouts should wear their uniform for the web meeting.  Have your notes from the completion of Req. 4a, the materials for Req. 4c,  a notebook, pens/pencils, and a great attitude ready for some fun learning!
