2021 Southern Klondike Derby at Henson Scout Reservation

 

April 16 - 18, 2021
4 PM Friday - 10 AM Sunday

Cost:

$10 per person if registered AND paid on or before March 14, 2021 

$15 per person if registered AND paid between March 15 and April 3, 2021

$20 per person if registered AND paid after April 4, 2021

$5 for Adults who Volunteer to help at stations

Registration for Klondike will also reserve space in a tent site at Henson for your troop to tent camp.

Check-In Time Starts Friday at 5:00 PM

Campfire Program 

The Campfire Program on Saturday night will be hosted and run by members of the O.A.
Troops participating in the Klondike Derby are encouraged to participate by performing a skit, song or cheer.

Campfire contributions should be presented to the O.A. hosts before dinner on Saturday
 

Saturday Competitions and Events

It is mandatory that at least (1) Adult Leader from each troop help out at the event on Saturday

Assignments will be given Friday night at the Leader Meeting.
 

Campsites

Tent sites will be issued on Friday night at the time of Check-In.

Early Discount
Before 3/15/2021 a discount of $5.00 will apply to all Adult Registrants.
Before 3/15/2021 a discount of $5.00 will apply to all Scout/Venturer/Explorer Registrants.
Late fee
After 4/4/2021 a fee of $5.00 will apply to all Adult Registrants.
After 4/4/2021 a fee of $5.00 will apply to all Scout/Venturer/Explorer Registrants.
Cancellation Policy
All refund requests should be directed to Del-Mar-Va Council Outdoor Programs, 1910 Baden Powell Way, Dover DE 19904 or by email to camping@dmvc.org. Refunds for registered individuals not attending the event may be given if the Outdoor Programs office is notified in writing at least 14 days prior to the start date of the event. There will be no refund for cancellations within two weeks of the event except for medical reasons. Partial refunds for cancellations due to medical reasons will require a doctor's note.
