Registration for Unit Commissioner Basic

This revised course is delivered in a three hour session.

By the end of the course, each participant will understand the basic requirements and duties of a unit commissioner. They will learn about resources available to all commissioners and the various forms/tools associated with commissioner service.   Topics covered in each session are specific to the position— for example unit commissioners learn their roles in: Unit Visitation Tracking System (UVTS), Unit Planning, Journey to Excellence (JTE), Voice of the Scout, and the Annual Commissioner Service Plan.

Course Location Update: Course will be held at Asbury United Methodist Church

Pre-course recommendations: It is recommended that all attendees complete the Unit Commissioner Fast Start Training on-line at the BSA National training site: MyScouting.org prior to the course.

· Roundtable Commissioners who are seeking info on how to serve leaders

· Potential Commissioners
